According to statista there is a 23.8% increase in earphones and headphones market size during 2020 when compared with 2019. Meaning that the market increased rapidly under special circumstances because of covid-19.
Trends were formed during 2020 and late 2019, trends that had to do with the use of Bluetooth headphones, Bluetooth speakers and soundbars. It was until that time that Bluetooth was not so commonly used for standard headphones and ear-buds. Now, because of the need of using teleconferencing services with ease and without any distractions to users or to others around them people resorted to the use of personal sound devices instead of just the speakers of a laptop or cell phone.
